E is for EDUCATION
The Museum operates a comprehensive menu
of activities for schools.
The range covered includes a guided I-SPY route around the Museum:
Victorian rural life which includes butter-making, washday and
dressing up in period costume; and Wartime in the rural community
covering evacuation, rationing, the Women's Land Army and even a
garden plot featuring an Anderson shelter.
We can adapt the visit to a theme if practicable and also organise
activities alongside the Museum visit such as a guided woodland
walk, a visit to the Animal Park, a gardening lesson or a tour
of Lackham's Farm.
Whatever your educational interest, please contact
the Museum Curator, tel: 01249 466847
for more detailed information and leaflets.
