Deer Walk at Dawn

Starting at 5.30am!!!

We will learn a little about the wild deer species living in and around the Lackham Estate. We will learn to look for field signs and tracking techniques.

We MAY be able to see identify and observe deer (subject to the weather and how quite you can be!)

We will look at the ecological impact of deer on other wildlife and their habitats and look at some of the reasons and methods for deer numbers to be managed.

Forest School Skill Level 3 Top-up

Tuesday 5 October to Friday 8 October     - 

Four days of Forest School training delivered by Bridgwater College plus two practical days in February 2011 to attain the Level 3 qualification.

Foundation Award In Forest School Skills

Christmas shopping in Lackham House and festive refreshments to get you in the Christmas spirit. Take a free tractor and trailer ride to visit Father Christmas in the Lackham Country Park.

Children visiting Father Christmas - £5.50 in advance, £6.50 on the door

Adults/Conc/OAPs - £1.50

Family Ticket - £18 (2 Adults, 3 Children)
